Carla Arend joined IDC in 2000 and is responsible for managing the European information management research service. Carla provides industry clients with key insight into market dynamics, vendor activities, and end-user trends in information management and storage software and services markets. She is also responsible for the Western European storage software data tracking product.
Philip Carter is vice president for the European Software Group. He leads a team of analysts that cover the infrastructure, middleware, and applications software markets and is tasked with writing and presenting on broader enterprise software trends and the impact of emerging technology areas such as Big Data, cloud, mobility, and social as they relate to the European region.

Anders Elbak joined IDC in 1997 and has been involved in projects covering most areas in the ICT industry, including hardware, software, IT Services and telecoms, giving him an invaluable insight in the overall trends and dynamics in the industry. He has been responsible for printer, phone, PC and server trackers in the Nordic countries as well as lead the consumer market research program.
Jan Horsager is responsible for IDC’s local research coverage in the Nordics. For more than half of his career he has been with the IDC/IDG business’ in the Nordics - as Research Manager covering IT-services in the Nordics as well as Editor-in-Chief at Computerworld Denmark.
Jesper Markmann joined IDC in 2007 and is part of the IDC Tracker team and responsible for the vertical segmentation of the Western European software market. He maintains IDC's central data repository, ensuring it represents the best possible view of the Western European software market.
Jesper Horsted Sørensen joined IDC in May 2017 as a Research Analyst. Jesper's key focus is on data analysis and creating thoughtful insights through new ways of expressing data within the IDC Nordic team. Jesper holds a Msc. of Economics from University of Copenhagen, where he has worked as a research assistant within the field of behavioral and experimental economics.
